Good morning all! Here's our new thread for the week -- let's hope a weekly thread helps the posting and viewing issues :-) .

Thanks, Laurie! I am glad we can start fresh! I was avoiding even going to the other one, as it is hard to catch up sometimes!

B-oats, cottage cheese, almonds
L-chicken and stir fry veggies (in sesame oil)
S-probably string cheese and ?? in the cafeteria

not sure on the rest of the day, we have a middle school band concert tonight and so the evening is going to fly by!

I think I had a decent weekend! My scale battery died and I haven't gotten to the store to get a new one. So, I really don't know but I feel comfortable in my clothes, so will use that measure.

Good Morning everyone

Deb, no I didn't realize the Leafs and Stars are playing this week! I would be excited about it but since the Leafs haven't won a game yet I figure there isn't any point (no matter who they are playing LOL!)...although they did play much better on Sat night and IMO actually should have won that one but they just couldn't find the net

Jessi, love your new ticker avatar

Yesterday's zone (10/25/09)...

Hello everyone! I agree that this is a great idea, much easier than figuring out where we all left off.

Jana- thanks, I thought it was pretty cute. I'm having trouble updating it right now... Hopefully I will see that it worked when I post this. Oh and wasn't the PB and J smoothie your idea? I tried a variation on that yesterday for a snack and it was DELISH!

Yesterday went well,
b-fast
oats w/ mac butter and b.s. splenda
protein powder/ water/ dash of ff milk

lunch
giant salad w/ turkey, tom, and peps topped w/ Trader Joe's Champ/Pear vingrtte
1/2 grapefruit
(good meal but it was a little too low in fat, the dressing does not have much and I didn't add a lot)

snack??? I can't remember...

dinner
left over buffalo pot roast w/ mayo and mustard on 1/2 flat out wrap. Broccoli

snack
PB and J smoothie (made 4 blks and drank 1)

Today has also gone great! I feel awesome and I noticed something today. I am finding things that I never thought were sweet, very sweet tasting. Weird... I took a drink of soda today in the car (I was out of water and that is what Ryan was drinking) and I had trouble swallowing it. Tasted like pure syrup! I have never liked soda, but I have never found it to be gross before. Now if I could only learn to lay off the salt shaker at the table!

Another side note, I have always been a huge veggie fan, but never have particulary liked or disliked fruit. I would eat it and not think much of it. Now I seem to LOVE IT, esp. juicy fruits like grapes, pears, apples and grapefruit.

B-fast
3 blks of PB and J smoothie- kept me in the zone VERY well, and really filled me up! I have never had a smoothie so filling...

Lunch- both fruits tasted VERY sweet to me
Trader Joe's southwest chicken (precooked and sliced) wrapped in large lettuce leafs and w/ mustard
mac. nuts that I now keep in my purse b/c I forgot fat
1/2 apple
few grapes

Snack
cottage cheese
bell pep slices- tasted sweet. I actually took a bite and then looked down at it to make sure it really was a pepper and not an apple...
T.J.'s Cilantro/Jalapeno hummus- if you have a Trader Joes close to you, BUY THIS! Honestly the best hummus I have ever eaten and is not very spicy at all!

Dinner (will be) one of my old pre-zone favs. that I am attempting to convert. Shouldn't be too hard. It is called Spinach Fandango and is usually served over rice or baked potato which I will leave out. I am having a spinach dish b/c I am still feeling like I am VERY low on iron right now and I have had red meat for the past 3 days and do not want to consume too much. The recipe is as followed
-Tons of fresh or frozen spinach wilted down in olive oil
-and sauteed w/ garlic and onion
add rest of ing. to pan and simmer
-ground beef- however tonight I will be using Boca Ground Crumbles b/c I don't like ground turkey and I have had enough red meat. Now I have had this before and I like it so I just picked it at the store and did not read the ing. I'm not sure if this brand was a good choice or not... Any thoughts?
-sour cream, I will be using l.f.yougurt
-cream of chicken soup, I have a can of the fat free in my cabnet, this recipe only takes a little bit so I may possibly add it b/c I really can't come up with any other sub. for it... Any ideas? I have not read the label so if it looks terrible I will leave it out.
-usually I top w/ lime juice and a sprinkle of motza cheese. I may leave it out depending on how many p and c blocks I already have. Taste good w/ or w/o

snack- who knows?

Janet- have you ever tried making your own nut butters? I used to make my own p.b. so I'm sure you could do it w/ mac. nuts. I always used peanuts, honey and a bit of oil and put it in the food processor. I don't know how it would turn out just using nuts and leaving out the other ing. but it may be worth a shot...

Thanks janet! Yes, that was taken a week ago at his Dol (Korean first birthday traditional celebration). He is half Korean, so his other grandparents were happy that some Korean tradition was included in the celebration. :-)

You're doing great janet! Sounds like you've reached the point where your taste for sweets is beginning to change. Once I was in the Zone for a while, sweets began to taste too sweet to me too (and still do).

Good evening everyone!

Laurie - thanks so much for starting this new thread. I hope it help those you are having problems posting.

Jana - Don't lose faith yet. You know they aren't going to lose all 82 games. They have to win sometime (probably Wednesday... lol)BTW, how is Logan doing? I thought of him when I saw your avatar.

Janet - good luck with dinner. I am sure you will make good choices.

Jessie - good job over the last few days. I know how you feel about things tasting sweet now.

Sue - Eli looks so cute. He looks like a little King ruling of his kingdom.

Well, having that popcorn at the movies Friday didn't seem to hurt me. I lost three pounds last week. That's a total of 32 pounds in 13 weeks. Yeah!

MEALS/SNACKS -

JUMP START 4:30 AM
1C/1P/1F
½ cup probatic yogurt.
2 cashews

BREAKFAST 8:30 AM
2C/2C/2F
1/3 c oatmeal
1 tsp raisins
3 slices turkey bacon
2 egg whites
2 tsp slivered almonds

LUNCH 11:00 AM
3C/3P/3F
½ cup lentils
½ apple
1 smoked pork chop
1 tsp peanut butter

SNACK 3:00 PM
1C/1P/1F
½ apple
1 oz jerkey
6 peanuts

I was a little later than usual on my breakfast and snack due to work issues, but I didn't get hungry in between, so it's all good. I still stayed in the 4-5 hour limit.

Dinner.... hmmm. I've been craving hot and sour soup really bad, but of course no restaurant is doing to deliver a $1.25 bowl of soup.. LOL. I got out my delivery menu and tried to put together a zoned delivery meal. Here's what I wound up with.

hot and sour soup
Stir fried veggies
Grilled Chicken (it was suppose to be teriyaki, but it tasted more like just plain soy sauce)

3 cups mixed veggies
Napa cabbage, onions, carrots, pea pods, bok choy, mushrooms, broccoli
bean sprouts
3 oz chicken
½ cup hot and sour soup

The soup had no meat and about 2 small slivers of tofu. I'm not sure how to even count it. I didn't add any additional fat, because I am sure they used some oil to stir fry the veggies. I ate almost all the veggies. I put the egg rolls and rice down the garbage disposal. Laughed at the fortune in the fortune cookies and put them down the disposal too. I told them no rice or egg rolls but they sent them anyway.Go figure.

I'm counting it as 3C/3P/3F?

The good thing is that the chicken dish was huge. I measured 3 oz and then broke down the rest into 3 oz portion in freezer bags. I now have 4 portions of precooked chicken in my freezer for future use.

SNACK
1C/1P/1F
½ cup grapes
1 oz cheese
3 almonds

TOTALS
11C/11P/11F

Deborah, congrats! Your breakfast sounds delicious. I think I might have had that if I'd seen it before I ate dinner tonight!

Egg rolls and rice down the garbage disposal; spoken like a true zoner! :-) When we get take out we throw the unwanted items out in the woods behind our house for the wildlife (corrupting the deer population's diet rather than ours).

Re: Eli thanks so much. You're right; he does look like a little king in the photo. He certainly rules at home! :-)

In the photo, he's at the dining room table, which was set with tons of traditional Korean food prepared by family. It's part of Korean tradition to set a lavish table including towers made of fresh fruit, and then the baby chooses from some items placed before him that are meant to symbolize good things in his future. It was cute, and luckily he was very cooperative.

Thanks Sue. That has become my standard breakfast. It's so easy, I make up a pot of the oatmeal and then just add the raisin and almonds when I reheat it as needed. I do have a half a bagel every now and then (like tomorrow) so that I don't get too tired of it.

I think I have been posting with you long enough to know if it was really a no no, you would steered me in the right direction, but can I ask your opinion on the soup. Obviously, I don't want to have it all the time, but is that meal okay for a once in a while treat? I'm not too worried about the veggies and the chicken as I cook that myself at home sometimes.

Thanks and welcome home!

Hi Everyone!

After a couple of hectic days that ended with arriving home from my vacation in Maryland and then making a trip to TJ's and Whole Foods late today, I finally have a little time to relax (well, sort of, still have to finish unpacking; I'm watching Dracula on the History Channel now...).

I've been posting my daily food and exercise diaries here for a couple of months to give you an idea of how I've stayed in the the Zone for almost 15 years (wow, hard to believe it's been that long!). From now on, I'm going to share some meals and other things here, instead of the diaries; I don't personally need to post all the details in order to make sure I stay in the Zone.

Tonight's dinner was a quick and easy (and delicious!)3 blocks:

whites of 6 hard boiled eggs (Now don't laugh, I used the TJ's hard cooked eggs in the bag; they're great for those times you can't cook!)
365 Light Mayonnaise (low fat, canola oil mayo) for dipping the eggs in

1 block of TJ's "Mangolicious" (frozen fruit: mango, blueberry and red raspberries) plus 1 generous block of TJ's Frozen Organic Red Raspberries (3 of little Eli's favorite fruits!); I go light on the mango pieces and add the extra berries to keep it very favorable because I'm super carb sensitive

TJ's blister peanuts

Jessi, so how was your spinach fandango?

I love hearing about how zoners take favorite recipes and convert them. It really isn't that hard to do!

I love stir fries, but I was always a rice-lover in my pre-zone days. But, I can easily do a stir fry and not give any thought to the rice at all.

Hi all! Hope you are all having a good night!

Cran- the spinach fandango turned out awesome, thanks! Kinda weird, but it happens to be one of my all time fav. comfort food meals on cold nights like tonight. I find I'm the same way, I didn't miss the rice or potato at all! And I agree, I think it is good to convert our fav. recipies since this is a lifestyle change.

Deborah- Congrats on the weight loss! 32lbs wow!!! And all the unfav. carbs right in the disposal! Great job!

Sue- I actually did laugh when you said you got the TJ hard cooked eggs in the bag, only b/c I ended up with those after going shopping the other day and I said the exact same thing!!!

Well, last night out to dinner went well...DH had a delicious cocktail and I passed....my dinner was really good: wilted spinach salad with a dressing of crumbled bacon and bits of roasted tomato plus strips of chicken!! (haven't touched bacon in years, but it was very minimal)

I wrote out a long drawn out summary of my Zone for the past few days, but my internet at work it not the greatest, so when I hit submit, it got deleted. So here is a summary of my summary!

On Saturday I had to work from 12-5, but didn't know about it until an hour before I started, since I put myself on the on-call list to be called in when someone else couldn't come in for their shift. I had a good Zoned breakfast for Saturday of egg whites and mixed fruit. When I was called into work I didn't have time to go home and eat a Zoned lunch, so I ate out at Jack in the Box, a hamburger place. They have some fairly decent food. One of those items that is ok for the Zone, at least for me, is the Chicken Fajita Pita. Bascially a smallish piece of chicken with onions and peppers, stuffed in half a pita pocket. I ate it around 11:45 and had to work until 5:30. I was in the Zone the whole time. I didn't have time to have a snack, but didn't really need one. I got off work, came home and just made dinner. I had 1 cup of blueberries and 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce over 3 oz. of canned chicken. Not exactly gourmet, but it does keep me Zoned. I had the same dinner on Sunday.

For Monday I had yogurt and fruit for breakfast.
Lunch was an egg white, cheese, and Canadian bacon omelet type sandwhich on an English Muffin with fruit.
For dinner, I finally got around to trying Sue's Brownie Batter Smoothie, but it didn't keep me in the Zone, so I need to tweak it a bit. It was very good, but didn't seem to have a lot of the volume that I usually have in my dinner shakes. I usually use 2 cups of berries, milk, and protein powder. I also had to eat with a spoon.

Today started off kind of not good, Zone-wise, but it could have been worse. We had a big meeting in the morning, so lots of goodies. I made a huge fruit salad with blueberries, vanilla yogurt, apple slices, honeydew, canatloupe, watermelon, grapes, and pineapple. Someone else brought bagels and cream cheese. I ended up having a bagel w/cream cheese, and some of the fruit, but I also had a little bag of beef jerky to balance it all out. I found these great little bags of Jack Link's original beef jerky that are exactly 22g of protein. So I ate that to balance out the carb of the bagel/fruit. Lunch today is a big salad of lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, egg whites, reduced fat blue cheese, and an orange for desert. Dinner is going to be an Asian Seafood Salad, with scallops, shrimp, salmon, snow peas, lettuce, radishes, green onions, peppers, tomatoes.

Hi all,

Sue, yup I agree, and tasty too!

Today so far...
breakfast
oats w/ almond butter
protien powder drink w/ milk and water

Lunch
Oh geeze... I don't know why I always seem to have drama mid-day but I do. My lunch that was packed was salad w/ veggies, cottage cheese to go on top, nuts and an apple. I was busy from the time I walked into work (won't go into details but it involves the joys of potty training a 2 yr old boy) and forgot to put my lunch in the fridge... Warm cottage cheese did not sound healthy... The kids were having spaghetti-o's and meat balls and I could have had the fake meatballs for p, but I decided not to and to take my chances w/ only eating the apple and nuts. YIKES!!!! Holy cow, I was right outta the zone in about 45 min and was so sleepy I couldn't keep my eyes open (relaxing nap time music for the children didn't help at all) Then after I got off work I went to the store to pick up some bottled h2o and had to re-count my cash 3 times b/c I was so loopy I couldn't focus on counting to 6... LOL not good!

Snack
Snack time came way early, and I fixed myself a smoothie just as soon as I walked in the door to the house. I had no idea how many blocks to make it, I didn't feel like one would be enough, so I just did 2. That was almost an hr. ago and I feel great now.

Dinner and pm snack I do not know about yet. I did get some tasty looking dry-rubbed Chicken, I may have that w/ asparagus.

Jessi, at least the chix and asparagus is a good step to bring you back to life!

I have not had a good day in the Zone, either. Mostly because I allowed my hectic schedule to rule my day, besides the fact that I only got 4 hours of sleep (work project that was due at 0700 this morning, so up late). I am a bit out of sorts, but more because of lack of sleep, that tends to make me crave the junk more.

And, I have to bowl tonight, this should be interesting! LOL!

I actually ended up eating breakfast dinner tonight and I feel normal.
egg white omlette w/ onion, spinach and soy cheese
mixed frozen berries
cashews

Cran- Sorry to hear about your crazy day too! Hope it is getting better! It is so easy to let a crazy schedule get the best of you, so hang in there and I hope tomorrow is a little more calm.

Sue- I need to check into getting some soy nuts, that is a good idea! I have never tried them. I will prob. hold off on the zone bars b/c they kind of make me want to overeat. I have no idea why, maybe just a mental thing b/c they don't leave me hungry. I think I may try them again when my body gets further in the zone, maybe last time it was some side effect of me being new to the program and not having a zoned mentality yet...

Dr. Barry Sears, PhD.Dr. Barry Sears is a leading authority on the dietary control of hormonal response. A former research scientist at the Boston University School of Medicine and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Sears has dedicated his research efforts over the past 30 years to the study of lipids. He holds 13 U.S. Patents in the areas of intravenous drug delivery systems and hormonal regulation for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

A turning point in his research occurred in 1982. That year, the Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded for discoveries of the role that specialized hormones, known as eicosanoids, play in the development of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, auto-immune diseases, and cancer. Since eicosanoids are only generated from dietary fat, Dr. Sears reasoned that one could apply intravenous drug delivery principles to nutrition in order to control these exceptionally powerful hormonal responses with laser-like precision. In essence, his approach treats food as if it were a drug.

This area of his research led to various patents in the area of hormonal control by essentially using food as an oral drug delivery system to modulate eicosanoids especially for cardiovascular, diabetic, and neurological patients.

The impact of Dr. Sears’ revolutionary work in the dietary control of hormonal response began with the publication of his landmark book, The Zone. Since its publication in June 1995, The Zone has sold more than 2,000,000 hardcover copies, and became a #1 best seller on the New York Times book list. In addition, The Zone has been translated into 22 languages indicating a worldwide response to Dr. Sears’ research. His second book, Mastering the Zone, published in 1997, also became a New York Times bestseller with hardcover sales in excess of 500,000 copies to date. His third book, Zone Perfect Meals in Minutes, published in 1997, quickly became one of the best-selling cookbooks of 1997 and an another New York Times bestseller. The Anti-Aging Zone was published in 1999 and provides the molecular insights into how the Zone Diet can reverse the aging process. The Omega Rx Zone, published in 2002, explores the molecular foundation of chronic disease and how high-dose fish oil can dramatically reverse it. His latest book The Anti-Inflammation Zone discusses how to combat silent inflammation in order to reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, and many other inflammatory conditions—and how to reverse these conditions if they are already present. To date more than 5 million hardcover copies of his Zone books have been sold in the United States.

His research has elevated food from more than simply a source of calories to being recognized as an exceptionally powerful drug. Because of his revolutionary research, Dr. Sears has been a frequent guest on many national programs such as 20/20, Today, Good Morning America, CBS Morning News, CNN, and MSNBC.

Dr. Sears continues his ongoing research as President of Zone Labs, a biotechnology company in Danvers, MA as well as the President of the non-profit Inflammation Research Foundation in Marblehead, MA. In addition to continuing research on the hormonal effects of food, Dr. Sears has expanded his research in developing innovative dietary approaches to treating cancer and neurological conditions, as well as his on-going work in treating cardiovascular diease and type 2 diabetes.

I have been taking the Fish Oil for over 3 years now. I am 44 playing hockey and working out. The Fish oil helps with the pain that I get from playing hockey. It greatly enhances my performance on the ice and while working out. I have noticed a big difference in my energy, attentiveness and memory. If I miss a day for whatever reason, I notice a huge difference and it feels like something is missing. Anyway that is my short little story and it comes from the heart.

– Carter B.

I am a nutritionist and Ph.D. doctor of health and nutrition. For Dr. Sears to figure out balancing fat, carbs and protein, is really beyond brilliant. It is a milestone in diet history. I go over people's diet/emotional journals. Mostly all the time, we discover that the fatigue, irritability, unstable emotions were due to the imbalance in their diet. Using the Zone to balance them out, helps control weight, roller coaster emotions and gives them energy. Dr. Sears is so right when he says food is medicine. He has figured out the most powerful drug combination going, called The Zone.
Best and healthy wishes,

– Elaine W., Ph.D., N.C., M.A.

I have a very exhausting job as a flight attendant. I read the "Omega Rx Zone" about 4 years ago and started taking the fish oil. I am 47 and have been flying for 22 years. I am very active, I run and lift weights. But combining lack of regular sleep, a physically demanding job, and irregular eating patterns this job takes a toll on the body. Since taking the fish oil, I have noticed that I do not get exhausted. I get tired, but not exhausted. I stopped taking it for a couple of months and then started taking another company's fish oil. I started getting exhausted again. I came back to Zone Labs and will continue with the fish oil for the rest of my life. I believe in the product and it makes a huge difference in my life. It makes a difference with my running as well. I also bring the bars and shakes with me on the road. It is almost impossible to eat the way I should at work. I haven't found the right secret. At least I have my Zone fish oil, bars, and shakes.

– Kathryn S.

I have been in the Zone, for about 1 month now. I wanted to share with you how wonderful I think this program is. I have been a personal trainer for almost 10 years and actively compete in numerous athletic activities. The Zone program has helped me to achieve a better awareness of my nutritional needs and the results I have seen are amazing! I have lost nearly 13 lbs since I have been in the Zone. I feel more mentally alert, more focused at work, have greater intensity during my training, have made significant strength gains, and just feel better over all. With that said, I would like to thank you for helping me in my quest for "super-health"!
Thank you!

– Rob Y.

I read 'The Zone' and as exactly as I could followed the advice for diet. I noted weight loss progress. Over six months, I lost 33 pounds. One year has passed since then. I have maintained the new weight, guided always by Zone concepts. The Zone is powerful - I have found it fantastic and I am very grateful to Dr Sears.

– Lyn S.

Before I stumbled across the Zone I was weighing close to two hundred pounds and I was depressed. I used to be a gymnast as a young man. I would think, "look at me now," when I looked in a mirror. The day I found 'The Zone' book, I was intrigued and as I read it the science made sense and so, I began to follow the "treatment". I began to lose weight and I was feeling way more energetic. I am forty two years old, I am very active and my weight is down to 162 lbs, 38 pounds lost on the Zone. I cycle, walk, jog, swim and I can now perform some of the more simple gymnastic skills I did twenty years ago...I literally feel like I have turned back the clock.
Thank you!

I have been on the Zone diet for 7 years. I did not go on the diet to lose weight necessarily; but fairly quickly I lost 25 pounds, going from 190 to 165; from a 36-inch waist to a 32-inch waist. I primarily did the Zone to live healthier. My health is excellent now. I just turned 62 years old. My Zone is my eating lifestyle now; I seldom stray; and I do not miss anything. It is The Good Life.

My wife's doctor told her to read "Enter the Zone" and to do the diet, so I told her I would do it with her. After only one week on the plan we went on a strenuous hike (the first of the year), and when we stopped at our favorite coffee shop on the way home I was able to get out of the car and stand upright and walk into the place without pain or stiffness. The Zone had eliminated all the inflammation that had always forced me to stumble all humped over into the coffee shop any time we skied or hiked all day.
Thank you, Doctor Sears.

I used to have a lot of knee pain when I walked or ran. I have been taking Omega Rx for almost a year now, and rarely have any pain. I believe it is the anti-inflammation action of the oil. I feel smarter as well. Thanks for developing such a superior oil!

Prior to following the Zone Diet, my body fat was around 15% and my weight around 153 pounds. No matter what I did, my weight and body fat did not change much. I regularly cycled 20-30 hours per week logging well over 400 miles. That had little impact on body fat or weight. Diet also seemed to have little impact on body fat or weight. Within a couple of months of following the zone diet, my weight dropped rather quickly to 142 pounds and body fat to about 8%. I still regularly cycle up to 20 hours per week (during the summer). I have also started strength training. I eat about 16 blocks per day. I take 3.6 grams of fish oil per day, along with Vitamin E, Alpha Lipoic Acid, CoQ10, and B & C vitamins. I also take GLA, which in my opinion, has significantly reduced fatigue and improved recovery times after exercise.

All polyphenols have antioxidant properties than can be measured by their Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity (ORAC), but not all polyphenols have anti-inflammatory properties. The polyphenols in Dr. Sears’ Zone Polyphenol Plus have been carefully chosen to have both.

Polyphenols are the phytochemicals that not only give fruits and vegetables their color, but also help regulate inflammation. In addition, polyphenols also activate the key enzyme (AMP kinase) that helps restore cellular ATP levels. Polyphenols also help regulate the activation of inducible inflammatory proteins (such as COX-2 and inflammatory cytokines).

There are more than 4,000 known polyphenols, and the richest sources are fruits and vegetables. In general, the more color a fruit or vegetable has, the richer the polyphenol content.

"IFOS – THE TOP GLOBAL PURITY STANDARD FOR OMEGA-3 FROM FISH"

Zone Labs products show no detectable lead or mercury when tested down to 10ppb, which is 10 times below the Norwegian Medicinal Standard and European Pharmacopoeia Standard limits.

Zone Labs products are three times fresher than the minimum allowed by the Norwegian Medicinal Standard and European Pharmacopoeia Standards (based on average peroxide values).

Zone Labs starts with only wild, small fish from pristine Chilean waters and ends with proprietary validation and testing processes to achieve an IFOS certified 5 star rating.

8-Step Manufacturing Process - Quality Assured

Testing to specification all raw materials, bulk products, packaging material and finished products – always using stringent internal standards and in-process testing.

  1. Extraction of fish oil
  2. Winterization – remove limited amounts of saturated fats
  3. Absorption – remove heavy metals
  4. Preliminary Molecular Distillation – refining “touch up” to reduce contaminants
  5. Oil conversion to ethyl esters
  6. Ethyl ester thermal fractionation – remove additional saturated fats
  7. True Molecular Distillation – final refining to remove pcb’s and long-chain monoenes
  8. Rigid Processes – proprietary validation, inspection and encapsulation methods. Independent lab verification of IFOS requirements and certified 5 star rating

Clean Sources

No farmed fish. No large fish. Pristine waters.

Zone Labs starts with wild sardines & anchovies fished from cold, pristine waters off of South America where there are less environmental impurities.

A recommended serving of Zone Labs Ultra-Refined Concentrates delivers 8 times more omega-3’s than a typical retail fish oil supplement.

Most fish oil supplements have 30% or less of the healthy omega-3s EPA and DHA, with the remaining 70% of the capsule containing unbeneficial, lesser refined fatty acids that contribute to their bad taste and gastric side effects.

Getting a clinically valid dose of omega-3’s is easy with Zone Labs’ Ultra-Refined Omega-3 Concentrates.

Typical Retail Dose = 300mg omega-3

Standard Zone Dose = 2400mg omega-3
