Hi all Just wondering if anyone has insulin resistance and following the Zone and loosing weight. I have found out that the medication I am taking doesnt help with weight loss - it doesnt put weight on which is good. I was under the impression that after a few weeks it might get the process going. I was not expecting a miracle but am confused as to how I can loose weight with exercising plus following the Zone when medication and body arent cooperating! I will be seeing the doctor next week with a lot of questions! All the websites I have looked at have said do exercise and watch what you eat -they promoted eating lots of grains (which I wont be doing!) Would love to hear from others who might have found the answer to getting off the weight when you are insulin resistant. I have been following the advice of Sue, CC and others which is greatly appreciated. I have been told to hang in there and be patient but patient for how long ..... |

Yes, Margaret, me! It was 15 years ago. I weighed in the mid 200's, fasting insulin up in the teens, typical apple shape, fatigued (needed a nap after lunch every day; yes, really!), was in bad shape in regard to fitness (it was more like faintness than fitness when it came to even the smallest amount of exercise; walking just 1/2 mile terribly exhausted me), I had tried and tried to lose weight only to end up putting on even more, and I was having debilitating hypoglycemic symptoms on a daily basis. Oh yes, there was more, like my high blood pressure which was resistant to treatment with medication, but you've already heard about that. I had HDL in the low 30's. Now it's in the 70's! The way to do it is with strict adherence to the Zone diet and supplementation with the appropriate dose of ultra-refined EPA and DHA concentrate (fish oil). Get down to the bare basics of the Zone diet by eating meals composed of the best Zone foods including lots of veggies. Let your food be your drug so you can gain control of your hormones as Dr Sears says. It's all about hormonal control and lowering inflammation. The results are low insulin levels and the elimination of insulin resistance, normalizing high blood pressure, losing excess stored body fat and a whole slew of other positive reactions in the body. I'm proof; my last fasting insulin blood test result was 3. You can check out the testimonials to read about the fantastic results other people have had from the Zone diet and high dose ultra-refined fish oil. Here's an article about the best Zone foods: http://www.zonediet.com/tabid/130/itemid/1134/Enjoy-the-top-Zone-foods.aspx Here are some excerpts, from the article, about the best protein, carb and fat to eat for the Zone. "Top of the list: Mackerel, turkey breast, cod fish, salmon, soybean crumbles and tuna steak. Very good Zone proteins: Chicken breast, 1 percent cottage cheese, canned tuna in water, imitation soy meat products." "Excellent choices: spinach, kale, romaine lettuce, broccoli Fruits include blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries, and red grapefruit." "The best quality fats for the Zone: macadamia nuts, olive oil, avocado, and almond oil." You can find more in THE TOP 100 ZONE FOODS, along with a recipe for each of the 100 foods. The foods are also rated according to good, better, and best Zone foods. It's a very informative book, with a couple pages devoted to each of the top 100 foods. Go Margaret! Tweak your meals to contain only the best Zone foods. You can do it! |

Margaret, my fasting insulin levels are not high, but I sure have to fight to keep it that way! Lots of diets out there that are suggesting just what you said, whole grains along with the fruits, veggies, lean meats. But, too many whole grains are going to continue to elevate your insulin levels. I was afraid that might happen with Januvia. Not really sure, but the way I read it, sounds like it is just going to maintain your elevated insulin, rather than to fix it. Sure, it will keep your blood sugars under control, which IS important. But, as I read the flyer (and not sure I was interpreting correctly), I don't believe it will help to lower your insulin levels. The only way that I know of to lower insulin levels is to adhere strictly to the Zone and get the exercise. |

Hi Sue Thank you (again!!) I thought of you when I hit the submit button! I appreciate that you have been through all of this. But was 15 years ago before your menopause? Could that be why I am having so much trouble now because of menopause and the insulin resistance. I know that I would have lost the 30 kilos (66lbs) that I need to loose quite easily doing the Zone and exercise if I didnt have these problems. I have lost 3.52 lbs since December. I am taking my daily 3 teaspoons of Dr Sears oil religiously. Have cut out bread, pasta, rice, Diet Coke etc. I am having heaps of veggies, eating chicken, turkey deli meat, salmon, tuna, beef. I have the drug analagy in the back of my head. Am pretty good at Zoning my meals now and can go 4 hours or so before getting hungry. There was a segment last night on TV where a mother and daughter had lost 60 kilos (132lbs) between the two of them. How?? With Cohen's. My husband said I should give it a go - dont worry about the money part. They were doing everything I am doing - cut out processed food, eat protein and lots of veggies. The only difference is is that they weigh everything - even veggies. My husband was puzzled as to why they could loose and I couldnt. I will checkout the best foods for the Zone. Actually will be interesting to see how many I am having. I had such a good weekend - I was in the Zone and had lots of veggies etc. Weighed myself on Monday and weight was up .... My measurements around stomach/waist have gone back up again as well. I cant wait to see the doctor on 27th to see what he says. He offered lapband surgery when all of this started but I think even that wouldnt work!! I am just curious if there is anyone else on the forum who is having the same trouble as me. |

Margaret, As far as difficulty losing the weight (fat), I am your person! I am having a successful spurt over the past few months, but really it hasn't been an easy ride for me! I could literally go months without losing a darn thing! Let me tell you, I can definitely hear your frustration! But, at the same time, even though I haven't gotten to my goal even after 4 years of Zoning, I am still here, still trying. Believe me, I have done my share of straying away, just for a bit, and the results are disastrous. I always end up coming back to the Zone. I figure that maintaining is better than gaining. And, even if the fat isn't disappearing, at least my Zone efforts will keep me from developing that TOXIC FAT. |

Hi CC I am sorry that you are having a similar problem but if I am still this weight in 4 years .... I dont know what I would do. I will give the doctor persmission to suck the fat out with lypo and do a lapband and anything else that may have been invented!! I am more than happy to keep eating in the Zone for all the benefits that it has but to see no weight loss is awful, frustrating, depressing when I feel that I have been putting in all that effort. My son is researching for me as well. He is a strength and conditioning coach so knows lots. He said when exercising to go harder. If you normally walk a certain amount per hour - upt it and walk faster. But then he said it is a catch 22 if the insulin isnt working .... |

Margaret, A few thoughts for you... I know we have talked about getting those veggies in... but are you getting enough fiber? LOTS of fiber is very important to reduce insulin levels. Are you drinking tons of water? It takes a lot of water to metabolize fat. Are you eating Zone bars at all? I would eliminate any nutrition bar at this point and really concentrate on doing this with whole foods. I agree with your son, you might want to step up the exercise. Walking outside is nice, but I find that my pace tends to slow down. But, if you are walking on a treadmill, you will be setting a pace and maintaining it. I hate treadmills, they are boring to me, but it might help get things going for you. |

Hi CC The only thing I might have to change is the Zone bars. I do have them for snacks. Veggies and water I am doing. What I am worried about now is that what if I do all the suggestions and still nothing happens ... We are thinking of buying a treadmill as winter approaches. This will be good if the weather is really bad and we cant get outside. My daughter and I are going to take up boxing again. |

You're welcome Margaret! I wouldn't be surprised if your increased measurements are due to one or both of your new meds. What was your new BP med again? I've been looking for the post but can't find it. Regardless, stricter adherence to the Zone diet will be the solution for you. Yes, I began the Zone before menopause, and am now almost 6 yrs into menopause. My insulin levels are even better since menopause than before. The result of 3 was from less than a year ago. If you also recall I have hypothyroid and my endocrinologist is having a difficult time controlling my thyroid levels due to my hyper-reaction to thyroid replacement med. Add to the list my numerous surgery recoveries. The reason that I'm successful in controling my inflammation and hormones (insulin), in spite of menopause, my hypothyroid concerns and the multiple surgery recoveries, is because I practice strict adherence to the Zone diet and lifestyle, not because it just happens to come easy for me for some unknown reason. I hear you saying you haven’t lost much stored fat in the past 4 months. Frankly, and I know you won't mind me saying this; it’s time to be a little more realistic about things. Here are some examples of what I mean. 1. You only began taking and ultra-refined EPA and DHA concentrate (Omega Rx) a couple weeks ago. 30 days is the amount of time it takes to receive the full benefits of a fish oil dose, as I mentioned in a previous post. It will take 30 days from the date you increased to the 3 teaspoon dose to receive the full benefit of that dose. High dose fish oil will only produce the desired results when you take the appropriate dose for your needs. 2. I reviewed your posts form Dec. to now, and they contain enough straying from the Zone to give the very lack of hormonal control that you are currently experiencing. No need for me to go into detail, but here’s a little reality check. For starters, canned baked beans added to what you had described as a fatty lamb meal, smoothies (lots of fruit), chocolate milk snacks (liquid carb), sweets here and there (and the holidays), chips at tea a week or two ago, your meal dining out with the voucher about a week ago that was complete with ice cream and topping for dessert, etc. In the end of Dec you posted that you still were not eating enough veggies. In addition, in mid Feb you listed the fruits you were eating including grapes and apples, neaingn you were still eatin significant fruit (remember trying to do veggie for all the carb...). These can be enough to keep even a long time zoner from begin able to control their hormones within the Zone, let alone a person who's just trying to get into the Zone in the first place. 3. You posted just 4 weeks ago that you were not drinking enough water. 4. Your current level of exercise is more than appropriate. Be aware tha if you ramp it up from here, you’ll produce even more cortisol which will make it more difficult to achieve hormonal control and lose the fat. Also you’ll need to eat extra food to support the additional exercise. 5. Dr. Sears Zone bars are not preventing your fat loss. They’re actually patented in regard to the proof that they maintain satiety (keep you in the Zone) for 4-6 hours OK, so when you put all of those pieces together, your lack of fat loss is no surprise at all. If you want results you have to practice strict adherence, and you happen you need stricter adherence than others. No big deal, lots of other people need to practice stricter adherence too. What to do about it? As the saying goes, you pull yourself up by the boot straps, dig in your heels in and do what you need to do. No more kidding yourself, no more excuses about menopause or insulin resistance. Just do it! BTW, a great percentage of the overweight population is insulin resistant! You don’t even need a blood test to know it. All that's needed is to look the mirror. Most anyone with the apple shape and extra stored fat in the abdominal area is insulin resistant. People with insulin resistance are very successful with the Zone diet. You can be very successful with the Zone diet too. Here’s how. Practice strict adherence to the Zone diet eatgin only teh very best zone foods and with only favorable veggies for your carb (that’s snacks and meals!). If you feel you absolutely have to eat fruit, then limit it to ½ cup of blueberries per day. Drink plenty of water. Continue to do your aerobic and strength exercises. Most of all get perfectly honest with yourself about what you’re actually eating! Last by not least, move on from the fact you haven’t lost a lot of weight since December. It’s irrelevant because we know you weren’t really in the Zone. I'd suggest listening to the video presentations by Barry Sears on Zonecompete.com. They would give you and excellent picture of things and hopefully will inspire you to do what you need to do. Closing words here (yes, I’m saying it again! lol), to make it work you’ve got to really do it, and all the time! |

Hi Margaret, I'm one of those people that are quite carb-sensitive, too ... And I recognize it's not easy at all. My husband can eat pretty much anything and not get hungry easily at all. He's quite the opposite of me. He has far fewer problems than I do when it comes to sticking to the zone diet. I'm "sorta-zoning" for now due to a thyroid condition that's being corrected, a serious constipation issue that's now being resolved, etc. I also have difficulty at times being organized enough to ensure I have enough food for when I have to be out of the house much of the day. However, I'm trying to ease myself back into the zone diet because I know it's the best for me. My "carb-craving" goes away even when I'm just "sorta-zoning" it. I feel better even when I'm not all-the-way there. Kudos to Sue for being so incredibly disciplined. I think her being so discliplined, as well as Barry Sears' advice to her over the years, has saved her life, literally--she probably wouldn't be around if it wasn't I know that as a carb-sensitive person, I'm much more prone to serious health problems later on in life. My fight isn't just to feel physically better now, but to avoid the fate that befalls too many of my aunts and uncles, some of whom are suffering greatly or even dying, or dead by now. I know it's not fair ... I see it when my husband doesn't have the struggle I have ... doesn't have the intense hunger I have ... and I gotta play the cards I've been dealt, like Sue, like you, like CC. AND ... the better I play the cards, the better off I will be as a result! Alexy |

Hi Alexy Thanks for your post. I also feel so much better doing the Zone. I did it about 6 years ago - lost weight and then stopped doing it. Wish I could remember why ... Anyway, we are here now and this forum is great with all the help and advice from everyone. I have a friend with a thyroid problem so I know you must be finding it a bit hard but hopefully all of your efforts will be rewarded. Yes, Sue is an inspiration. My husband wants to do the Zone also. He could probably loose 5 kilos (11 lb) but it is a little harder for him with things like bread as being European this was a big part of his diet. He wants to give it a try so will cut down his serving of bread. I am feeling so much better today - I think yesterday I was sleep deprived and dwelling too much on the insulin resistant stuff. You're welcome Bernie and Deborah! :-) I love helping others with the Zone. I see so much of my past experiences in many posts here, and when I do, I can't help but want to show others how to enjoy the benefits of the Zone as I've been able to do. When I read a post I can usually immediately see to the heart of the situation, know what the best Zone options are, and how to proceed. And what better place to help than in a forum setting, where it's possible that hundreds of readers could benefit from the suggestions offered to one individual! I applaud everyone who shares their questions by posting them in the forums. You are the brave ones! Your questions are of great help to numerous other zoners. And a huge thanks to Zone Labs for providing us with these forums! |

Hi Sue I have just picked myself up off the floor from reading your post!!! ha ha ... I am going to print it off to reread later. I am feeling so much more positive today - I had a bad day yesterday - was dragging myself around with no energy and feeling sorry for myself. I am finding this is happening on a regular basis so am putting it down to hormones. But today I have all my energy back and feeling great. OK, down to business. Sue ... I know when reading your post it looks like I am the worst advertisement for the Zone, but if you knew me personally you would know how much effort I have been putting in since December. I dont regard having 3 corn chips as being out of the Zone for 3 months of food. Also ... re the voucher with the icecream - this was won by my husband so it was nice that he was rewarded in this way. We had a lovely night. I didnt have the guilts and just got on with zoning the next day. I know there is a bit of tweaking to do but just be glad I wasnt posting when I was a chocoholic!! You would have had your work cut out for you then. My trip home from work was going to the shops and filling my shopping trolley with lollies and chocolates - not much else. I can now walk into a shop and walk right past these things PLUS I have no problem refusing cakes, pastries etc when offered so that is such a big thing for me. Our new boss stops at the bakery every day and brings in pastries .... I havent had one bite of anything! And not feeling deprived either. I do try with the water. I manage to get in around 5-6 glasses. I will work on that. A lady at my work was drinking zero glasses until her chiropractor asked her a few weeks ago how much she drank. She lived on tea. I know I will not get up to the amount of glasses you are having but will try harder. Last night I read some of the Toxic Fat book about insulin resistance. I was taking my fish oil in the morning but Barry said it was better in the evening so after dinner I jumped up and had my dose. Yes, I did read the part where it does take 30 days for it to kick in. Any day now I hope!! Gotta get back to work - talk to you soon. Its a bit hard with this time difference isnt it! Margaret |

Dr. Barry Sears is a leading authority on the dietary control of hormonal response. A former research scientist at the Boston University School of Medicine and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Sears has dedicated his research efforts over the past 30 years to the study of lipids. He holds 13 U.S. Patents in the areas of intravenous drug delivery systems and hormonal regulation for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
A turning point in his research occurred in 1982. That year, the Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded for discoveries of the role that specialized hormones, known as eicosanoids, play in the development of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, auto-immune diseases, and cancer. Since eicosanoids are only generated from dietary fat, Dr. Sears reasoned that one could apply intravenous drug delivery principles to nutrition in order to control these exceptionally powerful hormonal responses with laser-like precision. In essence, his approach treats food as if it were a drug.
This area of his research led to various patents in the area of hormonal control by essentially using food as an oral drug delivery system to modulate eicosanoids especially for cardiovascular, diabetic, and neurological patients.
The impact of Dr. Sears’ revolutionary work in the dietary control of hormonal response began with the publication of his landmark book, The Zone. Since its publication in June 1995, The Zone has sold more than 2,000,000 hardcover copies, and became a #1 best seller on the New York Times book list. In addition, The Zone has been translated into 22 languages indicating a worldwide response to Dr. Sears’ research. His second book, Mastering the Zone, published in 1997, also became a New York Times bestseller with hardcover sales in excess of 500,000 copies to date. His third book, Zone Perfect Meals in Minutes, published in 1997, quickly became one of the best-selling cookbooks of 1997 and an another New York Times bestseller. The Anti-Aging Zone was published in 1999 and provides the molecular insights into how the Zone Diet can reverse the aging process. The Omega Rx Zone, published in 2002, explores the molecular foundation of chronic disease and how high-dose fish oil can dramatically reverse it. His latest book The Anti-Inflammation Zone discusses how to combat silent inflammation in order to reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, and many other inflammatory conditions—and how to reverse these conditions if they are already present. To date more than 5 million hardcover copies of his Zone books have been sold in the United States.
His research has elevated food from more than simply a source of calories to being recognized as an exceptionally powerful drug. Because of his revolutionary research, Dr. Sears has been a frequent guest on many national programs such as 20/20, Today, Good Morning America, CBS Morning News, CNN, and MSNBC.
Dr. Sears continues his ongoing research as President of Zone Labs, a biotechnology company in Danvers, MA as well as the President of the non-profit Inflammation Research Foundation in Marblehead, MA. In addition to continuing research on the hormonal effects of food, Dr. Sears has expanded his research in developing innovative dietary approaches to treating cancer and neurological conditions, as well as his on-going work in treating cardiovascular diease and type 2 diabetes.

I have been taking the Fish Oil for over 3 years now. I am 44 playing hockey and working out. The Fish oil helps with the pain that I get from playing hockey. It greatly enhances my performance on the ice and while working out. I have noticed a big difference in my energy, attentiveness and memory. If I miss a day for whatever reason, I notice a huge difference and it feels like something is missing. Anyway that is my short little story and it comes from the heart.
– Carter B.
I am a nutritionist and Ph.D. doctor of health and nutrition. For Dr. Sears to figure out balancing fat, carbs and protein, is really beyond brilliant. It is a milestone in diet history. I go over people's diet/emotional journals. Mostly all the time, we discover that the fatigue, irritability, unstable emotions were due to the imbalance in their diet. Using the Zone to balance them out, helps control weight, roller coaster emotions and gives them energy. Dr. Sears is so right when he says food is medicine. He has figured out the most powerful drug combination going, called The Zone.
Best and healthy wishes,
– Elaine W., Ph.D., N.C., M.A.
I have a very exhausting job as a flight attendant. I read the "Omega Rx Zone" about 4 years ago and started taking the fish oil. I am 47 and have been flying for 22 years. I am very active, I run and lift weights. But combining lack of regular sleep, a physically demanding job, and irregular eating patterns this job takes a toll on the body. Since taking the fish oil, I have noticed that I do not get exhausted. I get tired, but not exhausted. I stopped taking it for a couple of months and then started taking another company's fish oil. I started getting exhausted again. I came back to Zone Labs and will continue with the fish oil for the rest of my life. I believe in the product and it makes a huge difference in my life. It makes a difference with my running as well. I also bring the bars and shakes with me on the road. It is almost impossible to eat the way I should at work. I haven't found the right secret. At least I have my Zone fish oil, bars, and shakes.
– Kathryn S.
I have been in the Zone, for about 1 month now. I wanted to share with you how wonderful I think this program is. I have been a personal trainer for almost 10 years and actively compete in numerous athletic activities. The Zone program has helped me to achieve a better awareness of my nutritional needs and the results I have seen are amazing! I have lost nearly 13 lbs since I have been in the Zone. I feel more mentally alert, more focused at work, have greater intensity during my training, have made significant strength gains, and just feel better over all. With that said, I would like to thank you for helping me in my quest for "super-health"!
Thank you!
– Rob Y.
I read 'The Zone' and as exactly as I could followed the advice for diet. I noted weight loss progress. Over six months, I lost 33 pounds. One year has passed since then. I have maintained the new weight, guided always by Zone concepts. The Zone is powerful - I have found it fantastic and I am very grateful to Dr Sears.
– Lyn S.
Before I stumbled across the Zone I was weighing close to two hundred pounds and I was depressed. I used to be a gymnast as a young man. I would think, "look at me now," when I looked in a mirror. The day I found 'The Zone' book, I was intrigued and as I read it the science made sense and so, I began to follow the "treatment". I began to lose weight and I was feeling way more energetic. I am forty two years old, I am very active and my weight is down to 162 lbs, 38 pounds lost on the Zone. I cycle, walk, jog, swim and I can now perform some of the more simple gymnastic skills I did twenty years ago...I literally feel like I have turned back the clock.
Thank you!
– Jack J.
I have been on the Zone diet for 7 years. I did not go on the diet to lose weight necessarily; but fairly quickly I lost 25 pounds, going from 190 to 165; from a 36-inch waist to a 32-inch waist. I primarily did the Zone to live healthier. My health is excellent now. I just turned 62 years old. My Zone is my eating lifestyle now; I seldom stray; and I do not miss anything. It is The Good Life.

My wife's doctor told her to read "Enter the Zone" and to do the diet, so I told her I would do it with her. After only one week on the plan we went on a strenuous hike (the first of the year), and when we stopped at our favorite coffee shop on the way home I was able to get out of the car and stand upright and walk into the place without pain or stiffness. The Zone had eliminated all the inflammation that had always forced me to stumble all humped over into the coffee shop any time we skied or hiked all day.
Thank you, Doctor Sears.

I used to have a lot of knee pain when I walked or ran. I have been taking Omega Rx for almost a year now, and rarely have any pain. I believe it is the anti-inflammation action of the oil. I feel smarter as well. Thanks for developing such a superior oil!

Prior to following the Zone Diet, my body fat was around 15% and my weight around 153 pounds. No matter what I did, my weight and body fat did not change much. I regularly cycled 20-30 hours per week logging well over 400 miles. That had little impact on body fat or weight. Diet also seemed to have little impact on body fat or weight. Within a couple of months of following the zone diet, my weight dropped rather quickly to 142 pounds and body fat to about 8%. I still regularly cycle up to 20 hours per week (during the summer). I have also started strength training. I eat about 16 blocks per day. I take 3.6 grams of fish oil per day, along with Vitamin E, Alpha Lipoic Acid, CoQ10, and B & C vitamins. I also take GLA, which in my opinion, has significantly reduced fatigue and improved recovery times after exercise.

All polyphenols have antioxidant properties than can be measured by their Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity (ORAC), but not all polyphenols have anti-inflammatory properties. The polyphenols in Dr. Sears’ Zone Polyphenol Plus have been carefully chosen to have both.
Polyphenols are the phytochemicals that not only give fruits and vegetables their color, but also help regulate inflammation. In addition, polyphenols also activate the key enzyme (AMP kinase) that helps restore cellular ATP levels. Polyphenols also help regulate the activation of inducible inflammatory proteins (such as COX-2 and inflammatory cytokines).
There are more than 4,000 known polyphenols, and the richest sources are fruits and vegetables. In general, the more color a fruit or vegetable has, the richer the polyphenol content.

Zone Labs starts with only wild, small fish from pristine Chilean waters and ends with proprietary validation and testing processes to achieve an IFOS certified 5 star rating.
8-Step Manufacturing Process - Quality Assured
Testing to specification all raw materials, bulk products, packaging material and finished products – always using stringent internal standards and in-process testing.
- Extraction of fish oil
- Winterization – remove limited amounts of saturated fats
- Absorption – remove heavy metals
- Preliminary Molecular Distillation – refining “touch up” to reduce contaminants
- Oil conversion to ethyl esters
- Ethyl ester thermal fractionation – remove additional saturated fats
- True Molecular Distillation – final refining to remove pcb’s and long-chain monoenes
- Rigid Processes – proprietary validation, inspection and encapsulation methods. Independent lab verification of IFOS requirements and certified 5 star rating
No farmed fish. No large fish. Pristine waters.
Zone Labs starts with wild sardines & anchovies fished from cold, pristine waters off of South America where there are less environmental impurities.
A recommended serving of Zone Labs Ultra-Refined Concentrates delivers 8 times more omega-3’s than a typical retail fish oil supplement.
Most fish oil supplements have 30% or less of the healthy omega-3s EPA and DHA, with the remaining 70% of the capsule containing unbeneficial, lesser refined fatty acids that contribute to their bad taste and gastric side effects.
Getting a clinically valid dose of omega-3’s is easy with Zone Labs’ Ultra-Refined Omega-3 Concentrates.
Typical Retail Dose = 300mg omega-3
Standard Zone Dose = 2400mg omega-3
