Hi! I know that this is a really odd question, but is anyone else experiencing feeling cold all of the time? I've been in the zone for just over two months now. Prior to starting the diet I was hot all of the time. I mean, I would be dripping with sweat I was so hot. Granted, I live in Phoenix, so hot is expected. Anyhow, for the last month and a half or so I've just been freezing all of the time. The only thing that has changed is the diet. I have lost 10 pounds, but I can't imagine that's enough to change my body temperature so drastically. So I'm just wondering if this is a common side effect or if maybe there's something else going on in my body. Thanks! Barb |

Hi!
Congrats on your progress Barb!
I've never heard of feeling cold from eating in the Zone. You might want to check with your doctor. |

Thanks, I feel really good! You know, aside from being cold <img src='http://www.zonediet.com/desktopmodules/ntforums/images/emoticons/smile.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Smile' align='absmiddle'> Thought maybe it was related to the insulin entering my body slower and making my internal furnace deflate. Probably just a coincidence that the two started together. Thanks for the response! |

| Hi! You posted previously that you've been taking synthroid for a number of years. Feeling cold is a symptom of hypothyroidism. If it continues I'd check with your doctor. |

| Way to pay attention Sue! I did just have my thyroid checked a few days before I started the zone and I'm normal. Just a coincidence. |
