but nonetheless, I am going to eat some tonite...(granddaughter loves them)
they are healthful and low glycemic, that is, compared to potatoes. I just have to be careful to use them sparingly.

Janet, I love sweet potatoes!!! Remember you can do 25% of each meal unfavorable and still be considered in the Zone, it just depends on how your body handles each unfavorable. For instance, when I make a fruit smoothie, if I use the correct amt of peaches, it doesnt last as long as when I use berries! Everything measured right, favorable, etc, etc., but, for me, the peaches dont satisfy me long enough for me to be considered in the Zone.
Enjoy your sweet potato enough for me too!! lol Arent Granddaughters.....well, grandkids, just great??!
