I think that depends on where you live, but here in Victoria there are kitchen stores that carry 1/3 t. measures.

Simply use a little less than 1/2 teaspoon, and that will do.

Sandy,

I have seen those "odd" measuring spoons in specialty kitchen supply stores. I have one that measures a "dash" and a "pinch", too!

It is also fine to just estimate, just go somewhere in between the 1/4 and 1/2, and you will be in the right ballpark.
