Alexander, I am not familiar with the kind of fish oil that you take. If you are taking one of the Zone Labs fish oil, then I would say that you could go up to at least 4 capsules, as that is the standard dose.

Why did you quit taking fish oil? Or, is it that you quit exercising?

Oh, so you didn't quit the fish oil!

I am not a huge expert at fish oil dosing, but you can use the eicosanoid status report to help you adjust your fish oil dose. The link is: http://www.drsears.com/portals/6/Documents/Eicosanoid%20Status%20Report.doc.

Hope this helps!

you know what... in the eicosanoid report it has many sumptoms if you need more fish oil or the same dose but not in cases that you might need a lower dose and that is a bit confusing..don't you think???

I looked at it, and it is a bit confusing. I guess I am used to using the descriptives at the bottom. If you read the descriptives, it will tell you if you are making too many good eicosanoids or too few. Then, you can make the necessary adjustment.

Hi again Sue...
I tried it and i switched all my dose yo omega rx plus i raised it from 4 capsules (my dose all the year) to 6 capsules..
The forst 3 days i woke up earlier i ha energy, good mood but 1-2 days now i feel like i am a bit of drunk..
I also help my dad in a job and i am 4 hours per day stand up and carrying thinks ..
Do you think it's time to try adjustment with eico and also lower the dose back to normal?

Thanks a lot..

Sounds like you might be making too many good eicosanoids. Take none for a few days and then start back at a lower dose. By changing both the type and dose of your fish oil at the same time, it's tougher to figure our what is making the difference (if your symptoms are indeed even caused by your fish oil dose). From now on, make one change at a time.
