hi all,

does anyone have a dara torres update? she's the oldest olympic gold medal winner in swimming history - at 33. she set the american 50m record at 40 during the 2007 nationals. she also won the 100m free.

this is *astounding* in a sport where 25 is considered "over the hill."

i assume she is still zoning. i read online where she is takin gfish oil, too.

i'd love to see an article / interview with her regarding the impact of the zone on her performance as she works out to make the 2008 olympic team as a 41 year old - perhaps the most amazing sports feat all year long.

if she medals... wow!

Nope, I have not heard anything new about her. It would be nice to see an article or interview, as you suggested. I think that many athletes shy away from the Zone because they are used to "carb loading". So, it certainly would be good to hear about how she describes her success as an athlete in the Zone.
