Molly, are you looking for more "portable" snacks? You can pack 1/2 cup of grapes (or any other fruit) into a ziplock bag, along with a stick of string cheese. You would not even need to refrigerate, as the cheese keeps fairly well, unless it is unusually hot out. You could also look up some zone muffin recipes, bake up a batch and you could portion them out for snacks. Zone bars are always an option for snacks, too. Now, for breakfast, if you don't like eating meat, you can use yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. Just check out the food guide for more options. I whip up a smoothie every morning, made up of 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 cup yogurt, 1 block of protein powder, 2 cups frozen strawberries, and 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil. |
