I don't enjoy reading instruction manuals. If something needs assembling and if I think I can put it together without reading the manual, I go ahead on my own. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't.

This past week I learned that I have to read the Zone books. Not just skim them, but really read them. There's so much information that gives understanding of what we're to be doing. It's so easy to get off balance and not even know it. I thought I knew (sort of) what I was doing, but I didn't, and it didn't feel very good. I felt awful and weight loss stopped. I didn't eat any unfavorable carbs, just not the right balance of good P, C and F.

I've been back on track for a couple of days, and it feels so much better and another pound has dropped. Yay! Lesson learned/tip of the day: read the books!

You are welcome! And, just so you know, I also read the books, and I do go back to them to refresh my memory! It definitely helps us "ol'timers", too!

Great advice! I agree with you. I've read them many times. There's so much info in each book that I doubt very many people can take it all in with one quick read. Also, when you read one of the books after you've been practicing the Zone for while, you tend to notice more of the subtle details about how to get the best results.

Read TOXIC FAT if you haven't. It's excellent!
