SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.
I believe the zone philosophy is right on. I have read the books, but this question I have never found an answer to, to wit:

I have acid reflux, it comes and goes
every few months.
The amount of protein and carbohydrates can be quite a lot of food and by the time that I eat all three blocks, i immediately start having some of it regurgitate and coming back up.
Anyone who has experienced knows what this is like. It is awful.

Should I cut it down to 2 blocks?
For me, it is the volume of the food, i feel sure after having this for so long.
But I want to get to the zone just like everyone else.

I am 65.5 inches tall
weight today 140
exercise 6 to 7 days; 1 hour each

Weight goal 120-125.

Please help.

Hi Scottie,

You have a couple of options:
1) You could lower the amount of favorable carbohydrate and increase the amount of unfavorable carbohydrate by a block. This should significantly lower the amount of volume of food you are eating but stil give you the correct amount of nutrition.
2) You could choose to have two-block meals more frequently throughout the day, keeping your total number of blocks you consume in a day consistant.

Please make sure you are drinking enough water (as you are quite physically active) to stay hydrated as well as help ease your digestion.

If this problem continues, please seek medical attention as there may be an underlying cause that you are not yet aware of.

Will try to make that modification.
And keep my journal notes to see if
I notice any changes.
