| ADVANCED HYGIENE VIRUSES AND EICOSANOID PRODUCTION
Most viruses, allergens and bacteria enter out bodies through the contact of our fingers with the mucus membranes or our eyes and nose.

Advanced hygiene could affect the production of eicosanoids in the following ways:

| What is albumin?
Excellent question.
I'll give you a brief simplified excerpt from Life Health and Longevity by the research scientist Dr Kenneth Seaton. You can order a copy at www.advancedhygieneproducts.com
Albumin is the most important and abundant serum protein.
Albumin controls the precise amount of water between blood, connective tissue and cells.
Albumin is a transporter for various minerals, vitamins and fatty acids.
Albumin is an anitioxidant.
Albumin detoxifies the fluid around cells and transports antioxidant vitamins
It has a vital role in transporting thyroid hormones.
etc,etc,etc
Basically albumin's release is regulated by the liver.
If there are more antigens in your body (also regulated by the liver) there will be less albumin.
So reducing the stress on your immune system thus reducing the production of antigens in your body is the only known way of raising the albumin levels so crucial for good health.
And advanced hygiene so far is the only known way of achieving this.
I would like to give you the areas in Dr Sears books where albumin is mentioned but sadly I don't think it's mentioned at all (at least not yet!!)
A zone diet may increase your levels of blood albumin by stimulating your immune system and reducing the full on viruses you contract but the advantages would be minor.
But the reverse, advanced hygiene increasing albumin levels, could have a significant effect on increasing the production of good eicosanoids.

I don't get any kind of commission from this company (or any company) so my suggestion to consider advanced hygiene is not monetarily motivated.
I can tell you I spent over two months just researching hand washing and its link to the contraction of viruses.
Every health department in the Western world agrees that correct hand washing technique is the most effective way of avoiding the contraction of viruses and the common cold.
That little fact in itself should catch your interest because viruses can slow or stop the production of good eicosanoids.
Dr Kenneth Seaton has spent over 15 years studying hand washing and other hygiene methods and is so far ahead of the rest of the field it's frightening.
My free ebook One Hour to Glorious Health does have a section on advanced hygiene but it's not linked to the production of eicosanoids.

You're absoloutely right.
One of the best ways of stopping the process of autoinnoculation is to avoid contact between your fingers and your face.
This contact is called autoinnoculation.
You haven't had the flu in over 20 years so this method of advanced hygiene obviously works for you.

Keep in mind that most people have never heard of advanced hygiene and only through forums like these will even the simplest advanced hygiene techniques (like not touching your face with your hands) become common knowledge.
I did a search for advanced hygiene on this forum and found nothing posted in the past.
Also there are other factors in advanced hygiene.
First many people actually touch their faces in their sleep.
Second children (and adults) are simply not very good at following basic advice like not touching your face with your hands.
Third advanced hygiene is not based on eliminating the entry of viruses etc into your body. You actually want a tiny percentage to make it into your body so you develop natural immunity.
Using a specially designed soap and facial dips is designed to significantly reduce that entry so you never recieve a "critical infecting dose".
Fourth many people have sinus problems, skin irritation or other problems which need to be dealt with otherwise the annoyance will make it almost impossible for them to avoid touching their nose and face (many times subconsciously).
Hence the value of a method that cleans the nasal passageways and the hands (especially the fingernails).
In advanced hygiene as well as the specially designed soap you employ a facial dip. Basically warm water with added salt and possibly a special formula added you dip your face into.
You can log onto the sites of every health department in the western world and find that they all agree that the simplest way of avoiding viruses and the common cold in domestic settings is to effectively wash your hands.
Knowledge can definitely be power in this field and I do highly recommend you read the research posted free at advancedhygieneproducts.com

Dr. Barry Sears is a leading authority on the dietary control of hormonal response. I have been taking the Fish Oil for over 3 years now. I am 44 playing hockey and working out. The Fish oil helps with the pain that I get from playing hockey. It greatly enhances my performance on the ice and while working out. I have noticed a big difference in my energy, attentiveness and memory. I have a very exhausting job as a flight attendant. I read the "Omega Rx Zone" about 4 years ago and started taking the fish oil. I am 47 and have been flying for 22 years. I am very active, I run and lift weights. But combining lack of regular sleep, a physically demanding job, and irregular eating patterns this job takes a toll on the body. Since taking the fish oil, I have noticed that I do not get exhausted. I get tired, but not exhausted. I stopped taking it for a couple of months and then started taking another company's fish oil. My wife's doctor told her to read "Enter the Zone" and to do the diet, so I told her I would do it with her. Prior to following the Zone Diet, my body fat was around 15% and my weight around 153 pounds. No matter what I did, my weight and body fat did not change much. I regularly cycled 20-30 hours per week logging well over 400 miles. That had little impact on body fat or weight. Diet also seemed to have little impact on body fat or weight. Within a couple of months of following the zone diet, my weight dropped rather quickly to 142 pounds and body fat to about 8%. I still regularly cycle up to 20 hours per week (during the summer). I have also started strength training. I eat about 16 blocks per day. I take 3.6 grams of fish oil per day, along with Vitamin E, Alpha Lipoic Acid, CoQ10, and B & C vitamins. I also take GLA, which in my opinion, has significantly reduced fatigue and improved recovery times after exercise.
