There’s always this old standby – simple to make and perfectly balanced. The recipe below is one block. Make a plateful for any holiday gathering.
Two hardboiled egg whites
¼ cup hummus
1 teaspoon slivered almonds
Lettuce and tomato slices, optional
Hard boil the eggs. Cut in half and remove yolks. Fill with hummus and top with slivered almonds. Serve on a lettuce leaf with a couple of tomato slices, optional.
