Hot and Sour Stir-fry Pork and Cabbage

Ingredients:
3 ounces lean pork loin, large dice
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 cups cauliflower pieces
1 1/2 cups onion, sliced
1/2 cup scallions, chopped
2 cups cabbage, shredded
1/2 pear, cored and sliced
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons jalapeno peppers, diced
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons fresh gingerroot, minced

Instructions:
In a medium glass bowl combine the oil, pork, stock, cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar, scallions, and spices. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. When the pork has marinated, place mixture in a medium nonstick sauté pan. Sauté pork until browned on both sides; then add vegetables and continue cooking until vegetables are tender. Place pork and vegetables on a large dinner plate, garnished with pear slices. Serve immediately.
