6 oz. Tofu, drained well and cubed
1 cup cubed pineapple
1 cup low-fat milk
3 Macadamia nuts, crushed
Place in blender and blend. The tofu is mild and takes on the flavor of any fruit. Makes a great, quick breakfast.
Editor's note: Here is a recipe that will hit the spot as warm weather approaches. Try it no more than two or three times a week, because a liquid meal has a greater surface area than a solid food, meaning the digestion and entry rate of macronutrients into the bloodstream cannot be controlled as well. See page 291 of "Mastering the Zone". The true test is how you feel for the next four to five hours after the meal.
