Ingredients:
6 oz. Tofu, drained well and cubed
1 cup cubed pineapple
1 cup low-fat milk
3 Macadamia nuts, crushed
Instructions:
Place in blender and blend. The tofu is mild and takes on the flavor of any fruit. Makes a great, quick breakfast.
Editor's note: Here is a recipe that will hit the spot as warm weather approaches. Try it no more than two or three times a week, because a liquid meal has a greater surface area than a solid food, meaning the digestion and entry rate of macronutrients into the bloodstream cannot be controlled as well.
