Olympic hopefuls are in the Zone

By Monica Trindade

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXX Olympiad or "London 2012 Olympic Games", are scheduled to take place July 27 to Aug. 12.

It is a time to reflect on the aspirations of the future and accomplishments of the past Olympians. Olympians ahead of their time ascribing to Zone anti-inflammatory nutrition include past Olympians Darra Torres 2000, Jenny Thompson 2000, Italian National Basketball 2004, Valentina Vezzali 2008, Oli Beckingsale 2004 and 2008, Christian Vandevelde 2008 and more.

The following 2012 Olympic hopefuls have found that following the Zone Diet® is the real key to improving athletic performance, winning competitions and setting new PRs.

With a carefully planned diet, smart training and the right amount of fish oil and polyphenols, athletes can improve reaction time, reduce body fat and inflammation, and improve moods—all leading to high performance. We’ll let you know how these Zone athletes do in their Olympic trials.
